Savitri now walks hand in hand with Satyavan into the forest to take upon herself the challenge of Destiny and death.
Freedom is a sort of instinctive need, a necessity for the integral development of the being. In its essence it is a perfect realisation of the highest consciousness, it is the expression of Unity and of union with the Divine.
A brief conversation follows between Savitri and Satyavan’s mother.
... while social life of some kind or the other is always there but the basis of our action should not be social consciousness or social acceptance and social approval but what is true and right and beautiful.
There is no grimness in being an instrument of the divine Will — it is the happiest and most joyous condition possible — it brings not only peace but an intense Ananda.
The day finally arrives when it has been prophesied that Satyavan must die.
Savitri faces a year of joy and sorrow, concealing Satyavan's fate. With yogic preparation, she's poised to confront destiny. She accompanies him to the forest, silently guarding him until his tragic end.
Earth isn't ready for pure Divine manifestation, veiling it in ordinary forms. Only man who looks at the future, but future is veiled.

Yoga means union with the Divine. In practice it implies coming in contact with and being established in higher and higher states of consciousness. It is the means to grow in spiritual and eventually the Divine Consciousness.
Savitri faces death's doorstep with love for Satyavan, despite knowing his fate. Her union and deep solitude shaped her into the Divine Mother's embodiment, empowering her to confront death and fate with yogic power.
If I could get thus displeased in presence of the human weaknesses, I would certainly not be fit to do the work I am doing, and my coming upon earth would have no meaning.
Book Seven, "The Book of Yoga," portrays Savitri's journey from grief to conquering Death. She discovers her soul, transforms, and becomes one with the Divine to confront fate and conquer death.
In 1956, despite torrents of Supramental Power, Earth's unconsciousness hindered its manifestation, prolonging transformative processes.
Savitri recovers her transcendent Self beyond the universal and thereby completes her Self discovery.
