A Call to Man, p. 370

Opening Remarks
Aswapati listens to the voice that calls man to ascend towards sublimer heights.

Prisoners of a dwarf humanity
“O Force-compelled, Fate-driven earth-born race,
O petty adventurers in an infinite world
And prisoners of a dwarf humanity,
How long will you tread the circling tracks of mind
Around your little self and petty things?

Humanity is being addressed here in its present state wherein it is driven blindly by fate and the unseen Force pushing him towards unknown goals. We are still petty adventurers in an infinite world imprisoned within our smallness. The Voice asks man how long do we want to remain in this imprisoning ignorance engineered by the mind and the ego-self held cative behind the chains and bars of desire.

Changeless littleness
But not for a changeless littleness were you meant,
Not for vain repetition were you built;
Out of the Immortal’s substance you were made;
Your actions can be swift revealing steps,
Your life a changeful mould for growing gods.

But we are not built for an incurable littleness and an unchanging smallness vainly repeating itself endlessly. Our soul are made out of the very substance of God. Our actions can be steps of swift revelation of a life growing in the mould of the gods. We are meant to grow even as the gods.

A strong Creator
A Seer, a strong Creator, is within,
The immaculate Grandeur broods upon your days,
Almighty powers are shut in Nature’s cells.

Man is a half blind seer and carries within something of the Creator Himself. The touch of Divine Grace and the Grandeur of a greater life broods upon us pulling us towards those heights. Even our very cells are filled with almighty powers.

A greater destiny
A greater destiny waits you in your front:
This transient earthly being if he wills
Can fit his acts to a transcendent scheme.

We are designed to fulfil a greater destiny that awaits us. All that is needed is the will to tune our lives to this Divine Destiny that has been willed for man.

Immortal’s sight
He who now stares at the world with ignorant eyes
Hardly from the Inconscient’s night aroused,
That look at images and not at Truth,
Can fill those orbs with an immortal’s sight.

He who now looks only at appearances through the lens of Ignorance and under the drowse of Inconscience can grow a new vision as the immortal gods who see at hidden aspects and the cosmic powers at work within creation.

Eternal’s gate
Yet shall the godhead grow within your hearts,
You shall awake into the spirit’s air
And feel the breaking walls of mortal mind
And hear the message which left life’s heart dumb
And look through Nature with sun-gazing lids
And blow your conch-shells at the Eternal’s gate.

Yet man is born for a greater destiny. The godhead within his heart will grow and man shall awake into the breath and power of the spirit. He would break the limiting walls of the mental ignorance and hear the secret voice within his heart. Looking at Nature with an intuitive vision that drawing its rays from the sun of Truth he shall arrive at the gates of Eternal blowing his conch shell of victory, the victory of the soul in its long and tremendous journey.

Authors of earth’s high change
Authors of earth’s high change, to you it is given
To cross the dangerous spaces of the soul
And touch the mighty Mother stark awake
And meet the Omnipotent in this house of flesh
And make of life the million-bodied One.

It is given to man to be an intermediary to change the earth and cross the dangerous spaces of his soul and bear the rush and touch of the mighty Mother, the Supreme Shakti awakening in his bodily life. He is born to meet the Divine in his bodily life and make of his life a cosmic unity based on the Divine Oneness.

Closing Remarks
This the destiny of man, to become an intermediary, a link between the creation and the Creator. He is meant to be the bridge between a life of ignorance and the intuitive vision that comes through a higher wisdom.

I have been asked if we are doing a collective yoga and what the conditions for the collective yoga are. ...Last night I had a symbolic vision of our collectivity.
