There are so many pulls and demands upon our time and energy that it becomes difficult to stay focused on our goal.
One gets drained because one is expending much more energy not commensurate with the receptivity.
She surely knows us much better than we do ourselves, otherwise She would not be who She is.
The necessity of personal effort in sadhana diminishes as we progress in surrender and the Divine Mother takes charge of our life and breath and speech and act. Then it is She who does the sadhana in us and all that is needed is to remain open towards Her.
