Meditations on Love

Even if we do not attain to the marvellous depths of the divine life, of which only very rare individuals are constantly conscious, already in the domain of thought we escape the laws of time and space.

I listened to the song of the waves, and it told me of such great marvels....

O my beloved God, Thou hast taken me into Thy arms that are so strong and so gentle, and nothing exists but Thy divine Ecstasy.

What then is this goal? It is one with the purpose of man’s life and his mission in the universe. The goal: “Call him what you will, for to the wise, he is the Possessor of all names.”
