Satyavan is the soul of man. He emerges out of the forest of human ignorance. But he is carved into the image of a god.
The moment of Destiny has arrived and Savitri and Satyavan are brought close to each other on the destined spot. Here she would meet her answering soul.
Love meets Savitri in the wilderness. Sri Aurobindo gives us here the secret truth of this godhead whose role in life and creation in unparalleled.
The Lord and His eternal Spouse have met again in earthly form. It is a momentous moment when once again the dram of earth is carried on, the great epic of the soul which must bring together the Divine and World in a single embrace.
