The coming of mind on the stage of earthly life has led to a fall from the simplicity and spontaneity of the plant and animal life.

The Divine becoming is a great felicity for earth and men. Yet few can keep the Divine measure.

The titans too can have a kind of bhakti for the Divine. But this is a bhakti that is completely tainted by the ego.

There are different kinds of responses that humanity gives to the Divine. Some respond with faith and love, others with doubt and resistance.

We are given some glimpse into her mightiness and wisdom as compared with the normal ordinary human life.

She was born to bring to man a greater boundless knowledge, a happiness never known to the human heart and sense.

Savitri now develops her mind and life parts and the body and her instrumental nature in different directions.

The early childhood of Savitri as she is growing is described below. What is specially revealed to us is the setting and the forces that are at play in and around her.

In the second Canto we see the growth and development of the instrumental nature to receive and express the Higher Consciousness that Savitri has brought with her.
