Book Three: The Book of the Divine Mother
This is the beginning of a wonderful revelation that Aswapati receives from the Divine Mother.
Aswapati has arrived at that high point or rather the highest point in his journey where he is to have the Divine Mother’s Darshan in Her Supreme status, a rarest of rare Grace. He has come here to seek the boon for earth and men.
Aswapati is now face-to-face with the Divine Mother. His one-pointed aspiration has reached Her. She knows his aspiration and has come hearing his cry.
This is a perfect description of a heart, surrendered and hushed and passionate and one-pointed in aspiration that has become a marvellous temple of the Divine Mother.
Aswapati has discovered this other world, more real and true and beautiful and divine based on oneness and not division.
Aswapati looks at this imperfect world as seen from the perfect world.
This material world is not a vanity or an illusion. It conceals within it a greater truth than what meets the surface eye.
Sri Aurobindo now reveals the contrast that one experiences when one looks at this world from the perfect supramental world.
