"Thy golden Light came down into my throat,
And all my speech is now a tune divine,
A paean song of Thee my single note;
My words are drunk with the Immortal’s wine."
Passing further on her nature’s upwards route, Savitri’s being encounters the Madonna of Strength, the Mother of Force and Might who brings the crown of victory and protects us on the paths of life as we move in our ascent towards yoga. She is Durga and Lakshmi, who endow us with the Kshatriya and Vaishya power.
A short composition, based on photographs of The Mother, a vision of Nolini Kanta Gupta, music by Sunil Bhattacharya, and paintings by Priti Ghosh. Produced on occasion of The Mother's Darshan of February 21, 2017, in Pondicherry.
We take a look at some of the past lives of the Mother. These reminiscences also reveal certain deep truths about the memory of past lives and the work of the Divine upon Earth.
Even as the pristine pure Ganges flowing from its mountain tops is polluted as it enters the inhabited plains, so too the forces of higher Nature supported by divine Powers, daivi prakriti, are twisted as they enter into the narrow and limited scope of human nature. "I housed within my heart the life of things,
All hearts athrob in the world I felt as mine;

And drank its sorrow like a poignant wine."
Savitri now enters the strands of Nature to swim to its Source. At first Savitri encounters the Madonna of Suffering who absorbs all earthly suffering and puts a balm over our pain. She gives us the strength to endure the trials of our life even though she has not the strength to save.
Alok Pandey in conversation with Narad speaks about a mystery of the Divine Mother's accepting birth in a human body and then leaving it, and practical consequences of this for spiritual practice of Her devotees and followers. (CN13)
