A great and dolorous journey begins as Savitri follows in the steps of Satyavan as his soul is being carried away by the being of Death. The road is full of chill and darkness as death enters his very home, his den from where he draws and derives all his power and magic and strength. Here the Night seems endless as if there is no possibility of hope or for life to live. Here, in this realm, Death and Darkness seem to have an absolute reign.
