It is better to fall asleep while concentrating than “like that”, scattered and strewn without knowing even where one is. To sleep well one must learn how to sleep.
Every grain that is sown in the earth produces a thousand. Every wing-beat of sorrow can be a soaring towards glory. And when the adversary pursues man relentlessly, everything he does to destroy him only makes him greater.
With the advent of Reason man’s thought strives to understand the secret law of things. It is this search that gives birth to science and Philosophy. Science too becomes a religion when she regards her discoveries as absolute truths.
When we have learnt this lesson that He is trying to teach us then shall we be free from the fear of death and indeed from all fears since behind all things terrible and beautiful, dangerous and delightful we shall see the One Divine Beloved
Questions include (1) who created the Creator, (2) achieving unity from within outwards, (3) physics, science and spirituality, (4) imagination and reality, (5) our role in the various challenges and threats to the earth.
