Savitri Realises Utter Oneness, p. 557 & Closing Remarks for the Canto Seven

Opening remarks
Savitri recovers her transcendent Self beyond the universal and thereby completes her Self discovery.

Single self of all
She was the single self of all these selves,
She was in them and they were all in her.

Savitri knew herself now as the single self all the different selves. She was in them and all of them were in her.

Immense identity
This first was an immense identity
In which her own identity was lost:
What seemed herself was an image of the Whole.

Her Self had become an image of the whole through an immense identity in which her own identity seemed to be lost.

Subconscient life
She was a subconscient life of tree and flower,
The outbreak of the honied buds of spring;
She burned in the passion and splendour of the rose,
She was the red heart of the passion-flower,
The dream-white of the lotus in its pool.

She saw herself identified with the subconscient life of tree and flower and the honied bud of spring. She knew herself burning in the passion and splendour of the rose and the flaming core of the passion flower. She was the dream of the white lotus in the pool.

Heart of man
Out of subconscient life she climbed to mind,
She was thought and the passion of the world’s heart,
She was the godhead hid in the heart of man,
She was the climbing of his soul to God.

Climbing beyond the subconscient life to the domains of mind, Savitri saw herself as the thought and passion of the heart of the world. It was she who hid in man’s heart as the godhead man was seeking. She was also the seeking of man’s soul climbing towards God.

Cosmic flower and its bed
The cosmos flowered in her, she was its bed.

She was the stable base and bed even as the cosmos flowered in her.

Space and Time
She was Time and the dreams of God in Time;
She was Space and the wideness of his days.

She was Time and all that was yet to manifest in its flow. She was Space and its wideness of God extending Himself.

Beyond Time and Space
From this she rose where Time and Space were not;
The superconscient was her native air,
Infinity was her movement’s natural space;
Eternity looked out from her on Time.

Savitri surged further beyond Time and Space into the sheer superconscient as if her natural home. Infinity moved in her and Eternity looked out from her upon the play and works of Time.

Closing remarks
Savitri is now identified with the Transcendent and Space and Time and the Unmanifest Superconscient.

Closing Remarks for the Canto Seven

This Canto marks the penultimate stage of Savitri’s yoga wherein she claims her universal and transcendent Self. By discovering and becoming one with the universe, by identifying with the secret self and nature of all beings, Savitri can now guide all beings according to the secret truth of their own being. She can also shift their needle of consciousness from within thereby changing their inner state. She can now know the truth of all things by a secret identity. At the same time by going beyond Time and Space and becoming fully conscious of the Superconscient in the waking state and without withdrawing from the world, she knows what is hid in the Unmanifest and thereby bring new possibilities in the cosmos
